I really didn't care for ol' Franky boy last year so I think Parnell should close anyway. On paper I think their bullpen improved but I also thought that last year. Hopefully I am right this time.

Parnell really could use a little nasty streak to go with that fastball!

I would prefer we have a fulltime real deal closer and use Parnell as another arm out of the pen, but out of the guys we have I prefer him over Francisco. If Parnell could just get that slider to be consistent he can be a scary pitcher.

He's gotta show that closer mentality. Broxton, David Robertson, guys like that have killer stuff but can't hack it when it comes to the end game.
