great way to come into work today. last song played on the radio as I pulled up

That was my son's pre-game psych up song. Played it before a game in his 10U season and won that game via shutout. Played it every game since.

Rest of the team was blasting Kanye or some dumb shit and he just sat in the corner with his headphones on and eyes closed.

when you say bad with Scott, do you mean that one concert or overall?

A deep cut from No Jacket Required - I think that's Sting on background vocals.

On this day in 1987, this song hit number 1 on the charts and stayed there for two weeks - Good tune, but pretty sure they were a one-hit wonder.

*shakes head, rolls up sleeve to show my Cutting Crew tattoo*

Far from it Dash, they had another horrible song reach the top 10 (in the US at least) called I've Been in Love Before. They even had another release that got some play here that I kind of liked - One for the Mockingbird. I don't think that did too well. (lol just listened, not awful but sounded like a fake song for an 80s movie to me. )

Side 'Crew note - when there were cool record stores that all might have different things I used to wander to a cool one across town. One of the oddities they had was a vinyl copy of Cutting Crew's album that was shaped like a circular saw blade. They next I went there it was still there but encased in plastic with a "Warning - sharp edges!" sign on it.

Okay @Comeds , how do you feel about Lou Gramm?

eh, he and Foreigner are fine. Probably would not listen to much on purpose, but there are a few or more songs I wouldn't turn off either.

That 'I Want To Know What Love Is' garbage should be set on fire, hit with a shovel, and then have acid dumped on it :D
