Against the green bay packers is the rumor.
The element of surprise week 1 with the new coach and systems
They're also apparently scheduled to be at Green Bay on Thanksgiving night.
The good thing is they do have (ON PAPER) a decent chance to come together later in the season.
Brandon Marshall playing in NY... frees up real leadership in Bears LR and team comes together under Fox?
it's going to be a tough opening 4 weeks. I fear that a 1-3 start... could force some Fans over the edge and fire and brimstone will rain down with heaps and heaps of pissed off Grabowski's. The good thing is they do have (ON PAPER) a decent chance to come together later in the season. I'm hopeful... but fearing the worse (from fans)
I believe most fans have very low expectations for the coming season. I for one would be fine with the worst record in the league. But we'll go 8-8 and mis the playoffs and mis drafting a top QB. I see a much improved def and a coach like Fox running much more, thus making Jay better. We'll be a middle of the road team. Which sucks IMO.it's going to be a tough opening 4 weeks. Bright side for Jay, only two scheduled prime time games, well until they start flexing sunday nights, but then maybe SF and Denver, dont know what the rest of the league looks like.
Fox has 5 months to prepare for the packers. Packers can be looking ahead, their week 2 is Seattle. Hope they play the starters a little more in preseason to be prepared, no more of this three and out and sit on the sidelines. Pretty sure Fox played Payton alot to get sharp.
I'll be the only Bears fan at the Seattle game, getting my highly hopped microbrew diluted in the rain.
