Yup. It’s pretty sad. He was the top shut down corner coming out of high school too.

Wow — that’s crazy. He stuck out like a sore thumb to me in yesterday’s game. That’s why I brought it up. I didn’t realize he was a big time recruit.

#44 is Bookie and everyone wanted Bookie. Now its a disgrace that he is wearing the Boz's number.

I just found it odd he was a starter when he looked 2-3 steps slower than the WR’s running by him?!?
I didn’t realize he was a big time recruit or he was wearing Boz’s number?
Maybe he just got caught flat footed on the plays I saw, but he definitely doesn’t have any type of recovery speed.

Wait a minute — that is a 5 Star CB? I don’t mean to get on the OU’s defense, but either WVU had WR’s running 4.0 40’s or that guy is not very fast. Maybe that is why they moved him to safety?
Sills isn’t a burner — he will likely run in the 4.5’s, but he blew past #44 like he was running in cement.

I’d bet against Sills running a 4.5

Funny how fans of other leagues complain about the defense but nobody is saying a word about the Rams, Cheifs, and Saints who are doing the same exact thing.

I dunno, he is faster than people think but dunno just how fast.

I know this, I would have lost a bunch of money betting that Kevin White didn’t have elite speed for his size a few years ago and low and behold the ol boy runs a 4.3 at the combine.

I’ll be curious to see what Sills runs TBH, not sure what to expect.

Guessing 4.6 to 4.7. He is big guy, uses his body well, smart route runner. Enough speed to catch people sleeping and be very effective

Think he could go in the 3rd round of the draft?

Probably comes down to that 40 time. He is going to spend 2 months working on it. Try to break 4.6

Yeah, I’m hopeful he can get close. Not holding my breath though

I don't remember seeing you in that game thread. If you had been, you wouldn't have posted this statement. Guys were ripping on the Defenses in that thread.

The difference though was that there WAS defense in that game. The Defense accounted for at least a third of the points.

Not even slightly comparable.

OU did score 2 defensive touchdowns last night so it is somewhat comparable.

Oklahoma’s defense scored 14 points last night.

Defense is all about adapting. OU has their own form of Defense. It's outscoring the other team. Has worked 92% of the time this season. The one time it didn't work, we lost by 3 with 14 seconds left.

Would we like an elite D? Of course. In the meantime we just keep winning games working with what we have.

Respect the O!
