The Phillies are also playing the Yankees today. Split Squad. Franco, Ruf, and Alfaro have 7 Rbis between them as
the Phillies lead 12-4 in the 9th inning.

Phils beat Yanks 13-4. Franco and Quinn hit homers. Young players in the lineup also include Crawford and
Alfaro. Nice preview of what could be!

so much better than watching any slop lineup with Ryan Howard in it. Can't wait till those guys are in regular MLB lineup in place of Galvis, Ruiz, Bourjois/Altherr, etc

yes really. Altherr is nice step in right direction but he is still nothing more than placeholder for a more legit prospect like a Nick Williams or maybe even Roman Quinn

Altherr, better to see him out there than Jeff Francouer though

I got to lay off the booze... did I just see a Phillies first baseman make a good throw to second base?

I figure if we could face Ryan Kelly every inning of every game in the regular season, we could easily be a 90 win team

Howard out with the Flu bug, Ruf gets the start. Hits a single off of a right handed pitcher. When Amaro was
here he would bench Ruf for at least 8-10 games if he hit well against righties. He always punished him for doing
well. I hope Ruf gets a lot of playing time this season against all pitching. He deserves the chance.

Think so? He hasn't done much with chances these past 3+ years.

Except in 288 PA against LHP, he has a .946 OPS, .255 ISO, .403 wOBA, and a 158 wRC+. So clearly he should play every day against left handers.

No. I watched a couple of innings. They had only the Blue Jays feed. It sucked listening to their announcers.
You have a subscription though because you live in California. I don't so all I got was the audio
