No pitching prospects and none in our system. What is this rotation going to look like next season?

i am ok with lack of pitching prospects... for a team that is willing to spend...

I am not ok with the returns of these trades...

seems like they are giving teams championships and they are not returning anything...

verlander's return is even worse than Scherzer's

I mean we're trading mediocre pitchers with big names so not sure we were getting franchise altering guys in return.

they are more than mediocre... sure, verlander and scherzer are at the back end of their careers... But they know how to win... and want the ball in their hands in big games...

i mean, houston has all these young pitchers and then Valdez and Javier who are both showing a lot of fatigue... Texas is the same way... and they were relying on Eovaldi...

i am seeing though, that they made an effort to get older prospects... is that true, or just an observation?? is it because they want them to play as soon as next season??
