No doubt Votto is on a tear so far this season.

But so our most hitters when facing the Brewers woeful pitching staff :L

I wish we could play you all season long. Drink heavily, friend.

This Cards team will wear you down. It's designed to grind and win a lot of low scoring games in the National League. When you have a guy like Wacha as your No. 4, you're gonna win some ballgames.

After last night, I'm here to admit I was wrong about the Brew Town Bombers.

They'll go 3-159.

Ugg...if Waino is down with an Achilles
Yeah. Its really frustrating. He is probably done for the year. This was my big worry for the season after they pressed on Wainwright so much last year just to make the playoffs and then traded Miller. Really the only holes on the team were 'if Wainwright or Molina get injured...' so naturally Wainwright goes down. The Cardinals did win the World Series last time Wainwright was out but they had a lot more pop in their lineup. Time for everyone else to step up.

Well, the season isn't done and the Cards have always thought of themselves as having "pitching depth." I never believe you ever have enough pitching, especially when that depth involves Wacha, CMart, Marco and Garcia...that's not depth, and now it will rear it's ugly head. Time for others to step up!

Can't say I'm too upset with the Cards losing Wainwright for the rest of the year. Deep down I know we have no shot at the division, but his injury only helps our slim chances.

Watch out Cincy, Brew Crew is heating up. One win in a row. From what the Brewers are saying the Reds shouldn't even show up.

Doug Melvin has been in charge of the Brewers for 13 years. One wild card and then quickly defeated 3-1 by the Phillies and one Division championship is not enough for him to keep his job. It's time to try a new general manager. I really don't understand why it hasn't been done already. Any other team in any sport and Melvin would have been gone a long time ago. "It's all about wins and losses", you're right Doug so take your 49% win percentage for 13 years and take a hike. I am so sick of even listening to that guy talk.

Great win for Craig Counsell in his first game as manager.
