For the love of god if they lose the series again to pathetic teams I'm going to lose it... The level of competition against non playoff contention teams vs playoffs contention teams need to be the same and I hope they get that into their minds. What a series win against the A's!

I'm still not over the series lost to the Phillies and Rangers because is felt like they were blown opportunities. The rangers are this point are playing spoilers and we simply cannot allow them to do that next series.

Two wins and 17 runs on the board in those two games. So far, so good.

Screw it lets just sweep them right?? Tommorrow with Young going should be interesting though. Might need to win another slugfest.

They could also do what they did last time and have Walker on standby just in case.

Doing exactly what I expected of them so far. Need to destroy the weaker competition! Back in the wild card lead

I was happy they put up 10 runs for Elias.. That guy scares me. Good to see him only gave up 2 runs though.

lol...

I wonder statistically what the impact of a championship winning team has on the other organizations in the same city. You can't really look at standings because a team could BE an 0-16 team (using NFL in this example) yet finish 6-10..

I guess you'd really have to ask the players. How do the Ms players feel about the Seahawks and does it impact their willingness to try harder?

Sucre/Hart/Romero lineup gets shutout? Who would have thunk it?

Jones in biggest AB of game and chokes? Who would have thunk it?

The difference was a Sac Fly. Beltre does, Jones doesn't. He has to learn to chop the ball on the ground and use his speed to beat out double plays. If it gets through, even better. Lay down a bunt. Field was wet and 3 hitters made it to first on balls hit 15-20 feet. Tough to field them. Ug.

Lloyd needs to stop stacking RHs when a lefty pitches. It never produces good results. They got lucky the other day when Hart hit a homer off Lester. Lomo is hitting .328 off lefties yet he's sat the last three games against a left hander. Hart is hitting .179 off lefties and .212 off righties. Sitting Lomo in favor of Hart against a lefty is dumb and needs to stop happening. Romero should never been in lineup when your in a pennant race. I dont have a problem with Sucre in there because he gives you a better chance at a big league AB right now then Zunino does. But yea unfortunately the in biggest Abs of the game, Jones and Smoak were the hitters. Cant let that happen

So many blown chances today! Truly disappointing in jones at bat. Knew it was over when he had that tiny pop up because that loser Smoak will not able to get the runner in

I agree that maybe we should try for the squeeze with jones speed. We saw it earlier when their pitcher slipped on a swinging bunt trying to recover the ball the the fiend was probably slippery.

I csnt believe we still rely on that loser Smoak to do something.

I agree that Jones was probably the biggest miss there in that situation. He was just too aggressive, swinging at the 1st 2 pitches outside while pulling off to get power. Opportunities were missed.

However, we still just took 3/4 on the road and that's really all you want to see in the grand scheme. 4/4 is icing on the cake, but it can't be expected.

The goal now is to win 2/3 against Houston with 3/3 being icing. Detroit has a rough series with KC so we should come out of this next series farther ahead of the Tigers than we entered it.
