There have more than a few 35 year olds play good. Winning a championship has more to do with the team and right coach
I say what needs to be said.I wasn't gonna say it...

The statement, however wasnt about 35 year old players in general even though that too would be stupid... The statement was Lebron would be to old to play.. You all need to take your Lakers haters blinders off because they cant tell you the future
You all still missed my point.. I never said it wasn't unsual. The resident troll LebronJames23 said "He would be to old to play".... I am saying " Since When?". He doesn't know that and neither does , so anyone else. A serious injury would end it. I think Goran Dragic might be in that boat next year... But we dont know that .. None of us are fortune tellers, so while tlance might be right.. It has absolutely nothing to do with the contention that LeBron will or wont be able to play because the future is not written yet. There is a difference between playing good and leading a team to a championship and getting Finals MVP. Lebron is now the 2nd oldest Finals MVP ever...Kareem at 38 was the oldest.
1. Kareem - 38 and 54 days
2. Lebron - 35 and 284 days
3. Wilt - 35 and 259 days
4. MJ - 35 years 117 days
5. MJ - 34 and 116 days
So yeah TLance is right...we haven't seen a player at this age dominate in a postseason run and in the Finals like MJ and Lebron has played in the NBA for a couple more years than MJ did at that point. Amazing.

Ron Harper played and won two championships with the Lakers when he was 35 years old and 36.. and helped the Lakers win two championships.. so it can be done
Hey, bud.....Ron Harper played and won two championships with the Lakers when he was 35 years old and 36.. and helped the Lakers win two championships.. so it can be done
That's still not my point.. the feller said LeBron Would be to old to play... And my point is you don't know that...Ron Harper was did not lead the Lakers to the title. That was Shaq and Kobe.
Pelinka has to be Rob Lowe's twin.....LOL.

I think Dragic could be a question with his injury, but the Heat had three very young players that grew up ib this finals.. I expect them to be a force next year, but by all means.. consider them finished if that pleases youI get that it's sometimes difficult to tell, but I don't see what he said as trolling. He said that Butler is 32 and Dragic is 35. He seems to be suggesting that by the time that the Heat's young core is old enough to be ready to win a title, Butler will be too old to lead them as their best player.
I don't agree with him because this finals run will likely shorten their learning curve and I think the Heat will land a top FA either during this FA or the next one. But he's not necessarily wrong either. Assuming 2-3 years for the Heat's youngsters to be truly ready, Butler would be 34-35 and Dragic 37-38. Neither are the freak that Lebron is, so it's entirely possible that Butler and especially Dragic would be too old.
Heck, Dragic might have retired by then.
He also said Lebron would be too oldUh, no he didn't. He said Butler and Dragic would be too old.
