The Latham pick surprised me because Milk is all about OBP and Latham had a .334 OBP He probably wouldn't hit .200 against these pitchers.

I do think pete rose is over-rated, but it is not because of the betting... I think his ideal spot in the lineup is at #2... also, you are forgetting that we are comparing these players IN THIS DRAFT... everyone is a stud... Rose is just not that good compared to the other BEST players...

More I think. IMO, ***** league stats should carry the full weight of MLB stats from that era

so hits are the only things that count now... you first say leadoff hitters first priority is to get on base... But you ignore that my 1-2 both have a career OBP of higher than .400...

and I will give you that Bagwell is the worst 3 hitter in this draft... That was my mistake drafting... I still loved my draft... But if I could do it over, I would have attempted to get a better 3 hitter... I was forced in putting him there because he is a righty...
