He has played a lot of DT in passing sets, especially when he was with Seattle. I think he swings inside a lot as well as backing up outside

I think he is a DE on early downs and a 3 tech in the nickel. I think he was a horrible fit for NE being that they play a lot of 3-4. He isn't a 3-4 DE. I don't see him having a problem playing inside on pass rush downs.

I am not a fan of his off field stuff and the stuff he says, just like I was not a fan of his brother when he flapped his jaws. But this DL needed help and he has been a thorn in the side if many offenses over his career. He normally plays with a high motor and is simply better than what we have behind our two starters. Way better if he fits in.

I agree. He hopefully can come in and hit some QBs in the ribs. I feel better about this trade when I remembered Richard was his former coach. He could fit in better than I thought. It would be a boost if he could spell DLaw Quinn and Collins and get sacks and pressures. Because the backup ends we got are not doing much
