Yes...Wade has not played well in the 2nd half. That poor defense and then subsequent offensive possession could have doomed us.....let's see if we have a little run in us. Down 9 in a blink.

Game over. Heat just dont have what it takes against these guys. They disappeared at the second quarter. Heat putting up soft shots. Might as well just wave the white flag and pull the guys - they are performing like garbage.

Ball game....horrible 3 point defense. Bad habits still there from prior year. See a 2 game losing streak coming....They were on the 2nd game of a back to back too. They are just better than us or at least on this night. We don't have an answer for them.

Houston will always be a bad match-up for us until we get a real Center who can guard Dwight.

This is one I would label a “well desrved loss” The Heat did EVERYTHING to earn this loss. Just sit CB for tomorrow night and send Wade home for the next game. His head is up his ass and has looked disinterested in the second half.

For a PG, chalmers is so damn careless with the ball. Its why i didnt want him back. Just sloppy play this half. Man i wish miami could have got Ariza this offseason.

When you get a real Center who can actually guard Dwight, they get far less open 3's because you don't have to worry about doubling Dwight.

The Hornets aren't that good of a team. Good defense but offense isn't anything special.

Not overreacting. We have a back to back on the road. The ball stopped moving the last quarter and a half. Not sure why Deng did not play more.

Always funny when people voicing displeasure is termed as an “overreaction” Thats the type of nonsense you will only hear from this fan base.

No one expects 82-0 but as I have said many times before, if you are going to lose, do so putting up a fight - you have to at least do that - and the Heat did not do that at all tonight. Instead, their performance got shitter as the game went on.

The overreaction on this board for losing to a team (without 3 of our regulars btw) and a team who is just better than us is comical. We are not better than Houston and our defensive philosophy plays right into their strengths.

Charlotte is on a back to back also....And their game started after our game so we will get to Charlotte before they do.

It is not a big deal at all.

I agree that the ball stopped moving but I'm not making a big deal about losing to a good Houston team and not making a big deal about playing a B2B because Charlotte just like us will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights as well

3 point shooting isn't much of a problem for us. We have a lot of solid 3 point shooters and McBob & Granger are healthy adds to that as well. We made 12 3's tonight and shot 43% from 3.

Reasons like tonight is why it is hard to imagine Ennis staying in the rotation when Granger returns.

I don't think anyone thought our PG issues were solve.

It's not impossible to win on the 2nd night of a B2B.

To beat Houston with our current roster, you basically have to let Harden & Dwight get theirs meaning do not double either of them and make sure all of their 3's are challenged. We did a lot of doubling which meant wide open 3's.

Still see us winning 2 games this week at least.

I like Ennis but the man is very inconsistent and shouldn't be a part of the daily rotation if we really want to be a 3 or 4 seed.

Tonight he was invincible on the court

Ennis hasn't scored more than 5 points in any game....It is also not like he's some great defensive player either

I feel like Granger on any night can give us 9-13 points in his 15-20 minutes

Agree. 3-1 is a solid start for us. Still have not worked two of our three key additions....
