Agreed. Hoping Spolestra finally steps up and says it was dumb of him to aleniate Whiteside during the season and not play Him more in 4th and let their 7 footer dominate. Hope to see him own it.

How petty must your life be that you have to, even jokingly -- have to twist peoples words to fit your baseless narrative?

alienate? You say some dumb shit in every post - but this is by far the dumbest and most baseless. The Heat are the last organization, in ANY sport that would do such a thing with ANY of their players.

If anyone "alienated" Hassan from the team, it was himself checking out of games due to being unhappy with the fact that he was being made to earn his way on the court - much like Wade did at the end of his first stint with the Heat.

Countless times Hassan has failed to buy into the team concept throughout the course of a game and different points in the season because he made things about himself.

When Hassan had his little nervous breakdown earlier in the season - the entire organization tried to lift his spirits and showed their support for him by trying to understand his frustration and helping him deal with it -- there is nothing " alienating" about that.

That said, reasonable minds wouldn't be made if the team ever did "alienate" him considering how many times they've tried to make him feel his worth to the team - only for him to turn around and throw a fit because he thinks he is entitled.

The Heat took on the necessary approach with their 7-footer for playing like a 6-footer

Only thing I'll say about Whiteside is with the offense we're running this series, it is impossible for him to get going offensively unless it is from an offensive rebound or ally.

Would be nice to see them throw it to him early in the game and let him go to work.

On offense, he is basically just out there setting high screens....On defense, he is committing dumb fouls

#relax. Just a sports board. Allowed to share opinions. Hassan was not good and got into foul trouble but he did not play when we got smoked. He had two fouls left and sat on the bench as we got smoked. Our great coach has a losing playoff record without the Big 3. Just 1-3 in playoff series without them and about to be 1-4. Truthfully, we are getting beat by a younger more athletic and more talented team who has an offensive identity instituted by their coach.
