Problem is that Riley has never really drafted well...recall he got a little lucky on Wade as he said he wanted Bosh.

i was discussing this with a friend of mine the other day. riley's biggest weakness as a GM/coach has been the draft.

DWade obviously was his best move. when bosh went... alot of guys could have done at that #5 spot. that year there was considered the top 4 and then everyone else.

Both moves were expected

The Oden move is the only one that is legit. The other is just being a pussy as usual

Wade and Oden are both under the same program. You can't want your cake and eat it too.....Either both are being pussies or both are legit. Pick 1

Could the fact that we are always picking so late in the draft, except for the years we picked Beas and Wade - as to why the draft is such a weakness for Riles? He always prefers to have this win-now approach and doesnt put enough stock on the draft in the spots the Heat have been picking of late. I mean isnt it obvious? The moment we draft a guy we are sending him to another team for another late second round pick or shipping him oversees. I think this is the season where Riles has to really make an effort at the draft… And the depth and talent is there for them to get someone that can help the team at some point.

Also, would like to see them go international much like the Spurs

Not really. Wade is healthy - And he plays as such when he feels like it - But when he has a bad game, the flood gates open on the excuses. As opposed to Oden who is coming off major injuries and hasnt played all but 82 games in his career prior to this season.

Chalmers, Douglas, James, Bosh, Haslem. Heat starters for tonight. Spo continues to finally keep the scrub out of the starting 5 - He finally realizes he doesnt belong there. Not even when the team is short-handed. Now, if he can just keep him out of the game all together, we can win with ease.

Some on this board seem to care who the refs are - some seem to think certain guys call against the Heat in games - And you have some idiots in here who like to place blame on them for games

Some refs have a lot of influence over the game, both with the O/U and ATS. This season these particular refs have a combined record for away favorites of 33-19. Maddox away favorites have gone an impressive 13-5 ATS.

No disrespect to N.O. as they still have some quality players available to them tonight, but have many out tonight - So, no reason for the Heat not to win with ease if they can keep the scrub out of the game

There is only one scrub on the Heat - His name is Shane Battier. He is the undisputed and unquestioned scrub of the team. He earned that name. He has worked hard for it and it will never be taken away from him.

The Heat will be unveiling their 18th starting lineup of the season.

Per Ira Winderman - and they all have good records except for those with the scrub Shane Battier in the lineup.

Hot start for the Heat - now the trick is to maintain it - keep the scrub Shane Battier out and they will do that

There will, or at least should be consistency once the post-season starts. We just have to make sure our two divas stop sitting out games.
