The Heat are flirting with disappointment -- they keep it up and the Pacers may take advantage

JJ shouldn't have been the guy to be given that shot

Looks like the Heat will escape with a victory either way

Nice win tonight. Would be nice win 4 games on this current homestand. Would be a good step in the right direction for the rest of this season considering we are pretty much healthy for the first time all season. Just need Waiters back.

Seems like Babbitt and D-Will are out of the rotation which I'm ok with because McBob has been solid.

We play Orlando and the Lakers on this homestand. No reason to lose to either team. I think we can possibly sneak out a win against Boston. Clippers I feel like we'll lose. 5-1 is not a crazy thought IMO

I know McGruder has been starting but he has provided virtually nothing especially on the offensive end. Just nothing

They need to reinsert either Winslow or Richardson back starting even if its on a limited minutes basis for Winslow or both given they are just coming back from injury.

As for who gets left out of the rotation now -- I say its easy -- you leave out the two young guys in Willie Reed and Rodney McGruder who could probably use some D-League time.

This team needs all the veteran leadership it can get on the court so sitting the young boys will help in that regard.

I agree about Mcgruder. He clearly will be one of the inactives once waiters is back. Disagree about Reed. Only big body outside of Hassan on the roster.

I feel like waiters is back then we'll have a bench rotation of the following.

Tyler Johnson
James Johnson
Ellington
Reed
Richardson

You are going off size/position. I am going based off purely experience. Either way, with the full roster at our disposal -- its a good problem to have.

The bench rotation you listed should get the job done on most nights.

The Heat should have no problem ending 2016 on a good note

To say this is devastating is an under-statement. He gave that disease an incredible fight.

Rest in sports heaven, Craig

Pretty sure not many are expecting the Heat to even stay in this game for long - this surely won't help.

We can't catch a break. Someone always goes down when we start feeling good about the team

Same starters for Heat: Dragić, McGruder, Ellington, McRoberts, Whiteside.

Decent start for the Heat.

Contesting every shot on one end and taking quality shots on the other will be an even bigger key tonight than ever -- this isn't a team you can't waste possessions against or they could seal the deal early in relentless fashion.

I always say this but tonight its more true than ever -- When we have a lead, we need to build on it and keep it that way for as long as possible -- keeping it closer for too long is not a good thing.

On the Hassan vs Jordan " trash talk"

I say its advantage Jordan - as a big man, catching lobs for dunks is one of the primary strengths those types of players should posses -- while Hassan is more recently just putting up floaters and jumpers and missing FTs. He shouldn't talk.

DeAndre gets it done on the court
