Spo has nothing to do with Whiteside being in a Heat uniform.

Riley makes the final decision on all these moves. The credit for this goes to Riley. If Whiteside can actually develop a half way decent post up game, then the coaching staff deserves credit.

True...very true. Heat did not not start winning and playing better until Riley came out strong and made comments about the team. The organization has found Hassan and the organization got Spolestra Wade and Bosh. It is Spolestra's job to make adjustments, proper rotations and help this talented team win and contend. He needs to improve on the -200 plus in the 2nd half of games.

Need to win against the Bucks at home and that could be the start of that nice 5 to 7 game stretch that Riley talked about for this team in terms of them feeling good about themselves.

I understand that. And that is far from what I said. I am well aware our scouting department and front office has more to do with it - But Spo and the coaching staff deserve credit for bringing him on slowly allowing him to be what he is for us today. Spo couldve just as well never given him a shot, he couldve been like a lot of guys weve had on our roster who were called up or signed to sit on the bench for a stretch only to be let go.

SPo and the staff brought him along with the right approach and this is the result.
