I'm not sure I was at the game first row behind the net with my fiancee. It was her first hockey game and she was asking what the fuck he was thinking. Bad play fortunitely it didn't cost us

Tough bounce killed him. If he gets that puck, we're praising his awareness.

With a 2 goal lead one could argue that taking the risk to guarantee the win is OK, but also, with a 2 goal lead, you can be way safer I guess. Easy to make arguments both ways.

I've got to disagree with taking the risk. Up two goals with a minute and a half all you should be doing is keeping yourself between the other teams most dangerous scorer (or anyone really) and your goal
