He has 10 black assistant coaches, out 20 assistant coaches , so 50%. McVay certainly isn't the issue.

Actually he is still part of the problem outlined in the lawsuit regarding pipeline for coaches.

Dan Snyder? Maybe more precisely RG3 one and done. Had a top ranked offense and bottom defense in 2012. Otherwise Mike Shanahan didn't do much there.

Quarterback coaches are very often former backup pro quarterbacks. Not a big pool to select from if your looking for people of color.

Imo, Staley is a dumbfuck. If he would have swallowed his pride and kicked a couple field goals they would have been in the playoffs.

Then what happened in washington? They just developed offense? Didn't use it?

Good question first two years for scoring offense (yards were middle of the league)... then got Griffin and were one of the top offensive teams in league.

Shanahan took lot of heat letting Griffin play in the playoff game vs Seahawks.... can still visualize the play he collapsed, not the same after the injury.

Well, he's a defensive guy and apparently only learned the reckless stuff from McVay lol. He was only with the Rams for one year after stints in Denver and Chicago, but did fine-tune former DC Wade Phillips' defense to #1. Pretty quick ascension from his first job as Bears OLB coach in 2017.
