There's no excuse for Floyd not to fight Pacquiao, none. I'm sure he'll conjure something up though.

Okay maybe that's fair, but devils advocate they fought with the same gloves so neither fighter was at a disadvantage....wait a minute he out weighed Mayweather by close to 20 pounds, think it was an eighteen pound difference. I think it would be easier for you to say I just don't like Mayweather so I'm going to put anything he' does or omits to do under a find tooth come and over analyze it to discredit him. They fault mano a mano what more do we want ? :puzzled:

Approved gloves are approved gloves. What more should Mayweather want? Also, a weight limit is a weight limit and everyone knows that you can gain weight after the weigh-in. If Mayweather were concerned about that with Maidana, you can be sure that he would've put some term in the contract about it like he did with Canelo.

2 reasons he'll never fight Manny.

1) He's a bitch

2) He can't imagine fighting someone who refused to get robbed out of money. A Manny Floyd fight should be 60/40 or 45/55 but the bitch floyd will never do that because he will try to get 70/30 or 80/20

I admit I'm a Floyd fan that said I try and be Objective. It's laughable to me when ppl try to allude to the fact that he's afraid or would like to duck Paq. It's a fact that If they fought that even if the purse was 60/40 that that would be the largest payout in Manny's career. So why would he give him an even purse or any thing close to that. That's bad business and like all sports boxing is a business.

Rather he's fighting with Pac, Canelo, Madinna, or whom ever; Mayweather is the Champ with an unblemished record that everyone including Paq is gunning for. Like it or not If you want the fight it's going to be under his terms as well as it should be IMO. He's the one with the perfect record and everything to lose period. Name that great franchise that everyone loves to hate (Yankees, Lakers, Celtics, Cowboys etc) those teams drive the market win or lose. Because he's in a one man sport he has the ability to drive the market maybe as a fan it sucks but as a business model its genius. Do I want to see him fight Manny of course I do will he not likely does that make him afraid? I don't think so. Part of what this guy does is head games, but he genuinely hates Paq and his camp so for that fight to happen Paq is going to have to bite the bullet.

I don't have an issue with Floyd wanting the fight under his terms WITHIN REASON. If the pay is 55/45 or 60/40 in his favor, if I'm Pac, I just suck it up and get a little less rich than I'd hoped. If Floyd is griping about the percentage payout, I get it.

The problem is he also thinks he has a right to dictate what gloves his opponent wears, how many drug tests they do beyond what is required, and a host of other things he has no business or right to stick his nose in.

But Pac will have to leave his camp for one fight to make this happen and he should. Truth is, Arum has made some bad decisions for him. The 4th Marquez fight was the dumbest booking Pac could have got (he wins...who cares...he loses...it's devastating..NO WIN situation).

I think pac will gladly take 40/60 or 45/55 but mayweather will probably try to do 20/80 or 30/70

I don't think Canelo can do it, at least not at the moment. IMO it's just a bad match up for him.

I agree, in a couple years Canelo will probably be the best pound for pound though.

I think its pretty funny that they have mayweather doing the "where will you be" ads for showtime. Its where will you be when Floyd gets beat. why would he want to promote that?

So one of the Money Team guys said they may choose the last of the six-pack of fights Mayweather signed on for to fight Pacquiao. Just what we figured. Let Pac get older, weaker, etc. They waited and he's already past his prime...just get it done now!

SNORE. Pretty lame. With a guy like Floyd, he's going to dissect you even more the second time around. He knows that better than anyone.

I'm sure Maidana is happy. That's about it.

I love when Pac and Floyd talk about giving the fans that fights they want and they gives us Maidana II. And no, Pacman, we do NOT want to see you fight Marquez for the 88th time.

Floyd is gonna play it safe.
he is gonna preserve is O
I don't see him fighting anyone that would test him at this stage of his career.
I didn't want to see him fight Khan either, so that guy will probably be next :(

Yeah, you are 100% correct on that. I'd rather see Khan just because he'd be someone new.

If getting a few great hits on Floyd was reason for a rematch, why not just give Shane Mosely one? Maidana II...who are they fooling?

Maidana isn't good enough to beat Floyd, Maidana would get knocked out by Pacquiao.

At this point I'd rather see T.I. fight Floyd, his opponents are starting to get ridiculous. First he fixes the Ortiz fight now he's going to fight Maidana again, it never ends with this dude. I'm still not convinced his fight against Canelo wasn't fixed, they're both Golden Boy.
