Should've got the W. Reminds me of Johan for about a year and half there where it was quality start after quality start with nothing to show for it. At one point Johan went I belileve 17 straight innings without giving up a run and had no wins to show for it.

Thank god the Mets held on to win this game. 7 IP, 1 hit, 13 Ks, was apparently still hitting around 99 mph in the 7th. He would have 4 or 5 more wins easily if not for the lack of offense and little league bullpen.

I think Parnell has done a decent job, but just decent. I tend to give him kind of a pass, as I don't think he was planned to be "the guy" this year, he was just put in the closers spot due to injuries.

He's one of the few bright spots on the team, along with Harvey, Wright and to a lesser extent Murphy/Niese. Parnell has actually become one of the better closers in the league, certainly the only redeemable guy out of the pen for the Mets.

talking fantasy, in any non keeper league it is about time to look to trade him... In keeper leagues never trade him... To bad i dont have him in my non keeper leagues because i would trade him before the all star break...
