Third player selected in the 2013 draft and a 5th rounder for a 34 year old Guard?

maybe they'll throw in Suh too.

Pretty sure everyone in South Beach is calling him a collosal bust. What did Aaron curry go for when Seattle shipped him off? Mathis is an athletic freak who is arguably a top3 guard in the league with with low mileage.

2 years after being the number four pick in the draft

Curry was traded to the Oakland Raiders on October 12, 2011,[20] in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick in 2012 and a conditional pick in 2013.

Well if he's a complete bust, what do we want him for. We already have our own bust in Smith

Hahha, like Brandon Graham the bust? Give the kid some time.

Chip loves Dion, gives him a fresh start, and we get OLB depth, which is currently lacking after barwin and Graham. The only concern is the dead money Miami has if they trade him prior to June 1.

Chip Kelly Loves Dion Jordan, Knile Davis Runs Fast, and the Rest of the News from the NFL Combine

Chip Kelly wasn’t the least bit shy in expressing his feelings about former Oregon defensive end and fast-rising prospect Dion Jordan to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Before the weekend, Jordan was considered a borderline top-10 pick, but he was expected to be a standout during workouts. The 6-foot-6, 248-pound Jordan was even better than anyone could have expected, and now it seems like he may be in range for the Eagles with the fourth overall pick. “Dion’s just a special guy in my heart,” Kelly told Zach Berman. “I had an opportunity to be with him for five years. He came into Oregon as a receiver, moved to tight end, we switched him over to defense the beginning of his sophomore year. He just had a huge impact, not only on the field but off the field.”

Technically he threw Howie under the bus, but how exactly was ms2 going to get on the field with Tcole, barwin and Graham all ahead of him and playing great? Also had zero special teams experience to help there. I think the grade of that pick has yet to be determined, need a few years, but it might have been Howie's downfall, considering how poor our online depth was to start the year.

I'm not sure a 2yr old article does Jordan any good.

Dion Jordan is a natural fit as a 3-4 OLB. Miami tried tried to bulk him up, from 248lbs to 275lbs, and play him as a 4-3 DE. He hasn't been able to produce in that role. Get him back down to 250 in a 3-4 as an OLB, and he might have a chance to live up to his potential.
