I'd be very pleased with Kenny Stills!

Getting Stills for Mathis would be a damn solid deal. But hurts not to have a starting caliber OG on the roster.

I think this is all about Chip wanting HIS team.

Now, if you are a good soldier ...you can stay but if you complain? Nah...you out. Thats how BB in NE does it too.

Cant be soft in the NFL. They will run all over u. Chip knows what he is doing. Eventually, you guys on the fence or back at the train station will figure that out.

Where are these Stills-Mathis swap rumors coming from? I don't see anything on twitter or elsewhere.

It's being reported that Mathis is on the block. Also being reported that Stills is available, so I think people are just trying to connect the dots. I saw both on PFT earlier.

If we trade Mathis, our pick at 20 is obvious. Jake Fisher is it. He starts right away at LG then moves outside when Peters time is up. The real question is, what can we get for an aging but still productive G? Stills sounds like a real possibility. I see the Bills might sign Percy Harvin. If they do, that would leave them with Harvin and Watkins, and they need help on the line. Would a Mathis plus a mid round pick for Robert Woods work? He did play in the Pac 10

Foles was reportedly thrilled to exit Philly.
Mathis has bitched about his contract since he signed it.
Cary and LeSean were both vocally opposed to Chips rigid practices.
DeSean was more of a punk than Chip was willing to have corrupt his locker room.

LeSean was over-paid.
Herremans was making too much vs his production.
Cary Williams, see above.
Trent Cole, see above.
James Casey, see above

Maclin........I don't know. Too much $?? Personally I think Maclin wanted out and found the right reason.

If this Mathis thing is true I believe it is Chip saying adios to non-conformists.
Chip is forming his team, his way and there is little doubt.

Maybe trading Mathis to open up cap space for a younger Wisniewski?

Being that the Dolphins are one of the teams interested in Evan Mathis….could a possible Dion Jordan trade be in the works?

Trading him for Stills then grabbing Wisniewski kills 2 birds with one stone :)

Mathis has been upset about his contract for a few years now. I don't want to see him traded because he is a good player still, but we do need to get younger on that line, one way or another.

The Saints are shedding cap so no, he is not going to the Saints, that's dumb.

Honestly I doubt there is much of a trade market for him.

There would be a market ... just not likely much in return aside from a 5th or so from a contender. I'd rather keep him unless we're dumping his salary for Wisniewski.

I've read that wis wants to play center...

Stills would be nice

Dolphins have interest in Mathis, think they would give up Dion and a 5th?

Third player selected in the 2013 draft and a 5th rounder for a 34 year old Guard?

maybe they'll throw in Suh too.
