Really dont understand it. Allen is going to get the majority of starts as long as Elliott is out. And then Elliott will get most of the starts when he gets back leaving Marty to do what?

Chances are he gets traded at the deadline?

We couldn't sign Marty for that deal?

Thats my thought. Deal aside we're in need of a backup for the longterm. Blues arent since Elliott's injury isnt considered a severe injury.

No doubt the Blues are in a better position to win then we are but I really doubt Marty is around long enough to enjoy their success.

Well he probably wants to get to 700 more than anything. And I dont see him getting enough starts unless more injuries strike.

We will have to see what happens but I caught an interview with Hitch and he said "If Marty is going to be here, he's going to play". It was on the Blues homepage.

Jake Allen is just a rookie! Rookies can't play in the nhl until they are past a rookie......what a minute now I'm thinking like lou

Sad to see Marty play for another team, but I wish him the best, a true legend of the game.

First start tonight in Nashville.

Too bad the Blues already came to the Rock..that would've been a hell of an event if Marty was on the team then.

Loss in his debut. He looked really sharp for the 10 mins or so I watched. Saw some of the goals against, iffy but none bad.

I do hope he gets to 700. That would be an incredible milestone that I can't see any goalie reaching in the future.

Nice, these are the moments I had the NHL package. Of course, I want him to get 700 too. Wondering how his stick handling worked out on that SL team.

He'll get loss #400 before he gets win #700. He should've just retired with the Devils :L

Maybe he was drunk or something. The 2000 and 2001 teams are regarded as some of the most talented teams of the past 15 years

“We have skilled players and they make plays. It’s so different,” Brodeur said — probably slightly jabbing his former team. “I played in an organization that we were pretty limited in skill so we got the puck moving north all the time and didn’t really make plays. These guys, they’re talented, they’re making plays. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes we make mistakes. But I’m really happy with the way the boys played in front of me.”

He's not necessarily wrong but fuck off Marty, you were treated like a King here. Maybe you're bitter because you got replaced but suck it up, show some class man.

Marty is taking drastic steps to ruin his legacy this season. Let's all pretend this isn't happening. Only way for him to salvage this decision is for the a Blues to win the Cup with Marty on board.

I'd also have to see video, it may read far worse than it actually came off.
