I totally agree jvett, but it isn't going to happen unless they play Franco like Asche, nearly everyday. That frikin' Boobens ought to be dumped in the Delaware River with a cement block tied around his feet for insisting that lard ass, who can barely run, play everyday at the detriment to young good prospect like Franco.

Terrific at-bat for Revere as he made the pitcher really work then concludes with a line-drive back through the middle for a base hit. Revere is just having a great year on a shitty team.

Franco to start at 1st base tonight. Ruf is in left field. The lineup is mostly young tonight.


We will need more runs since Kendrick is pitching.

Franco took off from first, slowed a little at second, than blasted home on that deep ball by Byrd. We are up two quick runs. Why we are not plying Franco everyday is a travesty. We all know why!! Stupid beyond belief.

Yeah, retro, I'm more enthused about football since the ban on PSU has been lifted after 2 years. This is the best time of the year for sports. Plus we are getting to watch what I hope are future Phillies all stars. I almost forgot Howard was still on the team after looking at the lineup.

October is the only month when all four major professional sports are active and college football is really cookin'. Yea that ban lifted on PSU is good news. PSU is one of my alma maters and I was there when the Sandusky crap was going down. It is time for PSU to get out from the shadow of Paterno and establish a new winning identity.

I like alot of these young Phils. Asche last night with the walk-off homer and this Franco is a legit. If they would play Ruf more, we'd have infielders that match the talent level of our young-stud bullpen. The Phils should also be playing Rupp as well.
