As of right now Tanaka is probably the favorite simply because he's a Yankee. Felix has 2 more starts and I believe Tanaka does as well, so it will be interesting to see how things play out.

I hear tanaka has a start right before the All star game, so unless they rearrange that.

I want to see Felix start the World Series.

Our team is built like the SF Giants team that won the World Series. 2 aces at the top, 2 good and reliable 3-4 pitchers, and a great bullpen.

We would need a few guys in our lineup to get hot, but give me Felix, Kuma, and our bullpen and I like our chances to beat anyone in the playoffs.


On a side note...Kyle Seager is hitting .277 now!? Holy crap wasn't he just at .249 a week ago?

We actually have done well against them in Houston recently. However when they come to Safeco they have dominated for the most part.

Yup, since the Astros joined the AL West the Mariners are 15-14 against the Astros. 9-4 at Minute Maid, 6-10 at Safeco.

Excited to see Taijuan pitch tomorrow. Yes it is the Astros, but their young guys have been surprisingly good and Jose Altuve is hitting .424 I believe this month, which is 29 days in, so it's no fluke.

I hope Cano is looking at another hot streak after his rocket shot today. We'll need him to be hot for our Oakland series before the break.

I am very excited to see Taijaun pitch today. He fills that Erasmo hole nicely. The pitching for the M's should be better with Walker in the rotation. I might add that this is a rotation that has been pretty good this season anyway.
