Curious to see Trevor Bauer. Guy taken #3 after Hultzen in the 2011 draft and has already been traded once

Way to generate a run. Stolen base, then single on the next pitch. Good job.

Robinson Cano is in a bit of a slump.

He is hitting .143 over the past 5 games after that AB. Good to see the Mariners draw first blood though.

Well atleast since cano has gone into a cold streak, Seager has gone into a hot streak so it's balanced out.
Also congrats on your 100th double Seager.

Cron hits 2 homers for Angels tonight. I sure wish we could pick him up. He is going to be a beast for years to come.

Since the 8 game losing streak April 23rd, the Mariners are 36-24 and Kyle Seager is hitting .307.

In those 58 games he has also hit 12 HRs and 53 RBIs, which projects at 35 HRs and 148 RBIs over a 162 game season. He has also played excellent defense for the Mariners this year. I personally think that Seager is having a near All-Star caliber season for the Mariners. If I had to rank the top 5 3B in the AL right now it would look like this:

1. Adrian Beltre (.325/.369/.502 9 HR 41 RBI)
2. Kyle Seager (.274/.345/.491 12 HR 55 RBI)
3. Josh Donaldson (.249/.331/.476 18 HR 59 RBI)
4. Evan Longoria (.267/.334/.406 10 HR 37 RBI)
5. Brett Lawrie (.244/.299/.419 12 HR 38 RBI)

Kyle Seager is not in the top 5 for All-Star voting at 3B though.

When Seager got off to that horrible start, it was only a matter of time before he broke out of it and started hitting like we know he can. I agree with Seahawksfan that he should be an all-star with the numbers he's put up at third base on offense and with the defense he continues to play at a position that he only started playing when he got to the majors. I can't remember who selects the all-star reserves, but it would be an absolute shame if they overlooked him simply because he doesn't have the same name recognition as some of the guys who don't have the stats that he has put up.

I actually thought about making a thread about his all-star candidacy. Unfortunately its seems like Donaldson will be voted in with Beltre as the likely 2nd guy chosen. I guess the question is will 3 3rd baseman be taken or if people back out will he be on the replacements chosen. I agree with your rankings though.
