The coaching change might have hurt Houston, but San Diego State shut them down for 3 quarters. To hold a team that had scored 30 or more in all but 1 regular season game and 40+ in half of their games to 10 points is impressive no matter what. Great win all around.

With Herman they lost to SMU, Memphis and Navy. San Diego State is better than all 3. Easy
