We are not a good road team at all. We are going to really have to play our best game offensively to win this game as we know the D is keeping us in games when they decide to play. In this scenario, if the D gets overwhelmed early or tired late, we will be toast as the O will just fold at the first sign the D is getting beat. Will be interesting to see if the O can get going early and keep it going throughout the game or if this is going to be a repeat of the SF contest.

Tampa has 1 win-1 loss, In 2 games they have scored 38 points while giving up 64 points.
Los Angeles has 1 win- 1 loss, In 2 games they have scored a whopping 9 points while giving up 31 points.

All I can say is YIKES! :behindsofa:

Yep Zeke. We are the only team in the NFL with fewer than 10 points scored in two games. I don't know what Fisher thinks about all of this but many of the sports talk show radio hosts here in Phoenix think this guy is a joke and should be replaced and NOT signed to an extension.

It is also quite clear that many of the All-Pro Ex-Rams both past and near past are expressing the same notion that Fisher is done as an NFL coach and should be replaced as a HC ASAP.

No need to worry Retro.. Fish has Goff under his wing and is developing him as he sees fit.

Fisher has always had a game fart game, every season since becoming the Rams HC. You know, that game that gets away from him.

I don't know if that will be the case this year, or if we will just suck, but if the former holds true, Week 1 will be that game fart week this year.

As for this week, we actually need to go pass first heavy early on and let the pass open up lanes for Gurley. You know Tampa will be stacking the box early anyway to stuff Todd and company in the running game. But it's not only for this reason that we should be pass first to open the game. Tampa is pretty damned good vs the run and suck at defending the pass.

Also, if another NFC West defense can give Winston that much trouble (4int, 5 TO's) we too are liable to do some damage to help our team to a win.

Besides that, the Rams are 4-0 vs the Bucs in the last four years or the Jeff Fisher era, and the biggest points in regulation for the Rams last year was vs the Bucs.

Okay, so maybe their due...

But history is on our side.

I'm predicting a loss. Both times after we upset Seattle last year, we ended up losing the next game and have a feeling that it won't change this week. But would love to be wrong.

Unfortunately that's how we started last week, looked good first drive, got our FG and then we were basically done the rest of the game? But I agree this is the week we "need" to get Gurley going!

Wasn't week 1 a brain-fart game? It was as if the Rams showed up expecting last year's Niners, forgetting they changed systems, all while leaving their offense in the locker room somewhere.

Uh, I believe the limp biscuit might have had something to do with the big trade and selecting Goff there Cougie.

Lets start with the Rams D which has played at a high level thru two weeks. The D line has been dominant and Donald continues to play at an all pro level with a great score of 94.8. Brockers has been great 82.1 and Quinn 73.7 and Hays 76.9 have been solid. The LB Have been good to with Ogletree leading the way with an outstanding 87.4 grade which is 6th best in the NFL. Barron has been solid to 78.8. Safety play has been great to with McDonald scoring a 82.5 and Alexander a 83.4. The only concern over two weeks for the D has been the play from the CB's. which is somewhat of a surprise. Johnson grade comes in at 46.3 which is bad and Sensabaug has been worse at 43. Joyner who usually plays the slot has been very solid with a grade of 78.9. Overall the D has been great. The Bucs WR's might be able to take advantage of the struggling Rams CB's. Jackson hasn't got on track this year yet and just has a grade of 51.8. Evans has been good with a grade of 79.2. The Bucs Oline will have their handful with the Rams front 7. Their Oline grades out pretty good from the center to the right side all earning avg grades but the LF Tackle and guard have been bad with grades of 47 & 47.4. Look for Quinn and Brockers to get some pressure.

The Rams offense as we know have struggled after 2 weeks. Lets start out with the WR's. They are lead by Britt who has been by far the Rams best target. He grades out with a 77.7 which isn't bad. Quick has been Quick but at least he's getting on the field more. Still a bad grade of 51.8. Austin comes in with a grade of 42.6 so far not living up to his big new contract. He's just been bad. The Oline in front of Case hasn't been good either. The best player by far being LF Guard Saffold with a score of 79.2 which is solid. Robinson has just been bad 40.6. Barns not much better 45.5. Wichmann 45.1 and Havanstein 49.7. Keenum scores a 50.9 which is bad but expected behind that line they need to play better. Even Gurley's numbers are down but still pretty good with a grade of 70.7. down 9 points from week one though.

I think this game will come down to the turnover battle and field position. The Rams with an advantage on D but the Bucs with a more dangerous offense.

So that analysis is pretty much confirming what we have seen all along. The Lambs offensive line is shitty. LT,LG, C, RG, RT are all scrubs....sucks Gurley has to run behind that.

Not sure about that. Rumors are he didn't want to trade up for Goff. Wanted to stay at 15. Also Fisher hasn't said if it will be Goff or Mannion that will be dressed this week. Which tells me Mannion must be looking good in practice.
