Its looking more and more obvious that he will be gone by season end if not sooner, I doubt we could even get a 7th at this point. Good news is that even being a high pick, he isn't blocking Stacy. Bad new is no production from another 2nd round pick. Who scouts these guys anyway?

And Quick wasn't considered a game changer walking in the door - they spoke of him like another Vincent Jackson, who didn't blow up until his 3rd year. WR in general take a couple of years to develop. We'll see if Quick makes a leap. He's one hell of a blocker, he destroyed a guy on that 81 yard catch by Austin. Blocked him off the field into the stands.

He's averaging 20 yards a catch this season - he needs to continue to work to get more game time.

Plus, with the way the offense has been for the past month, no one receiver is getting a lot of targets. Often, the leading receiver has 2 catches.

Teams always need RBs. Knowing the Rams will likely cut him, they may not be able to line up a trade in the offseason, but someone will give him another shot (or 2, or 3).

I agree Blue. Somebody will think he is salvageable. If his career takes off somewhere else, it will be another wasted draft pick for us and we seem to have a mountain of them over the last decade or so.
