I have been against this from the beginning but I trust the coaches. Clayton was never going to be our next guy, but I am a fan of Leal and Young and really wanted to see us use Thomas as a Vernon Davis-type tight end and red zone monster. I guess the coaches know more than me, but Thomas is not our typical quarterback type. He is big, small and fast, but not very quick. Young and Leal both fit the mold better but are clearly a year away at least. I am not sure how they will play into it next year. I also am not sure how the other LT will fit in, assuming he commits to the Hokies.
