Is it in the greater Cotulla area? I can go sit and close my eyes and visualize the race.

Never heard of Cotulla, but visualize a win, would you?

Deserted oil town at the moment about 60 miles from Laredo down I-35 on the border. Town of 3000 with 17 hotels in it. Fracking being shutdown with oil industry down.

Glad it is, got our hotels cheap as hell with them competing for business. Otherwise they charge the toe and finger also when oil guys in town.

BRONCOSMITTY - His 2nd race will be almost identical to his 1st. Running in Oregon in a MC for a tag of 125k at 7F on the dirt for a purse of $15,200 in a field of 8. Three differences. He will be running on a fast track. He drew the 6 post instead of the 5. He will be 38/1 instead of 33/1. He runs Thursday.

I don't expect anything until I switch him to the grass. That's what his breeding calls for, but when he came up sharp the first time there were no suitable turf races, so I debuted him on the dirt. I want to see him on a fast track before I switch.

If he is anything like his namesake (@broncosmitty), he will take to grass pretty quickly. :heh:
