According to Wikipedia they claim 4:

1960 - Actually Minnisota & Ole Miss Split
1984 - Actually BYU
1990 - Actually Colorado & Miami Split
1991 - Finally one they can claim and split with Miami

So 3 out of 4 are bogus and let's be honest if the BCS or Playoffs were around they wouldn't have won in 1991. In a playoff situation, they probably get blow out like they have every time in recent history.

So my question would be is the University of Washington the poor man's version of Bama in the PAC? Seems they have mathematical issues.

Apologizes, as I wouldn't want to cheat a team that won a legitimate national championship, unlike some other team's claims.

Considering Bama actually has real titles to go along with their claimed titles, I'd say Washington is more of a poor man's Texas A&M.

That's the biggest insult.. that school claimed a championship during WW2 and continues to claim championships when none of the students who played on those teams are alive.

That's fair.

I'm still not going to pass up an opportunity to make fun of Bama though.

How about you eat a big bag of shit. BYU in ‘84 was bullshit and everyone knows it.

And the ‘91 team would have beat Miami, everyone thinks so.

I have 0 issue with them claiming the 1991 NC. They finished #1 in the coaches poll and walked a top 5 Michigan team in the bowl. I don’t see this as a BS title

1984 was a BS year. They finished #2 to BYU in both polls, who they would have handled easily. Finished by beating then #2 OU. The claim is flimsy, but they were better than BYU.. I still can’t believe BYU got the title

So you feel that Auburn won the national championship in 2004 since USC had to vacate and Auburn was undefeated?

Miami would have beat you like a rented mule.
Beating up on second-tier PAC teams tends to make you guys way overconfident.
