What an idiotic stupid moronic worthless trade…

I guess they were desperate to get rid of Fournier!

Just dumb

They wanted to cash in on that Fournier chip instead of losing it at the end of the season. They've forced him to rot on the bench far too long, let the man try to continue his career. Shooters are inconsistent, comes with the territory. Bojan and Burks have each had one good game, one bad game thus far as Knicks.

I agree about Fournier, dude saw no action in a romp vs Denver…

It’s just the timing of it

Fournier is living the life. He's made $37M the last two years and played 31 games.

I believe the same package that got them Bogdo and Burks, would have gotten them Derozan. And that would have given them a legit 2.5 year window to win a championship. Bogdo and Burks improves the team, but does not get them over the hump.

I don't think Chicago takes that deal. A big plate of meh with 2 2nds? If they were blowing it up, maybe.

That 2.5 year window would depend on re-signing Derozan, so you would have to hope NY is where he wanted to be.

Bog and Burks for that package is a solid return; 4 rotation guys for 2 better floor spacer/rotation guys. Give them some time, they just got there and need to assimilate into the team concept.

I think Chicago would want a 1st for Derozan and who knows, maybe they did not like Grimes as much as Detroit did. That is a huge factor.

When and if the Knicks are healthy …

What happens to Robinson, with him out the teams defense improved .

Thibs is loyal to his dman, wondering if Robinson sees less court time?

Well, I'm no capologist, but from what i understand , it will be hard to keep Mitch and resign IHart at what his market value will be. If it were me, I'd prefer to sign IHart and package Mitch with a few number ones and possibly a player or two, for a big trade in the off season.

Hart isn't a free agent until 27/28 (team option), Robinson 26/27.

Yeah, now the only concern is will Thibs run the high usage guys into the ground. He needs to trust his depth a bit more.

@tlance

once Again you are proven wrong

The Knicks are beating teams not only with a challenged roster, and injuries to boot , why?

Cause they have a coach who stresses

Fundamental basketball.

will you ever be right?
