On one hand I respect the Rangers willingness to make a move(unlike the Twins ever) but on the other hand, they still might be the 4th best team in their own division(especially if Angels do add some pitchers) so this desperation might be for nothing. And Kluber isn't exactly young.

Still worth the risk for the Rangers and he could have one nice season but I wouldn't depend on him if that's the Rangers plan. His body has broken down over the last year or 2. Hope the best for him though and maybe he can have 1-2 seasons where he can kinda return back to form.

Good gamble for Texas. His $13.5M for '21 only kicks in if he's able to pitch 160 innings in '20.

I would imagine the Rangers are looking to add an impact FA as well. Should have a decent core for the new stadium next year.

Is Kluber still hurt? The Indians didn't get much in return.

Will be 34 on opening day with only 2 years of control left. Maybe a little lite but I dont think his value is super high after he missed almost a full year

After one inning Kluber could be out for season. Wow. I knew the injuries could take a turn for the worst but this is bad.

Yeah sucks for Corey. Probably done for the season since his on the 45 day IR and takes a few weeks to get back. Still don't like the trade thought because all we got back was the roided out loser that's suspended for the season.

By the time the Indians traded him, it was already on full display that he was a major injury risk. They should have traded him earlier when only they knew his issues.
