Game Thread: Kings host Bolts

LA Kings (14-6-1) play host to the TB Lightning (14-6).
Last 10: Kings 7-2-1 Bolts 7-3
Injuries:
Kings: Quick (G) groin, out indef., Clifford (F) concussion, Greene (D) upper body & Carter (F) lower body.
Bolts: Stamkos (F) broken Tibia out indef., Barberio (D) upper body is questionable, Pyatt (F) broken collarbone, Lee (D) knee, Aulie (D) upper body, & Ohlund (D) knee are out indef.

Bolts: Away 6-4-0 G/G 3.05 GA/G 2.5 PP% 19.2 PK% 84.5 PIM/G 12.7 S/G 27.8 SA/G 28.5 FO% 50

Kings: Home 7-3-0 G/G 2.57 GA/G 2.14 PP% 20.8 PK% 82.9 PIM/G 11.8 S/G 32.1 SA/G 25.9 FO% 55.5

I_Shall's skinny: The King net-minder, Screven has been really stingy! In the 8 games he's played he is 4-1-1 and only given up 7 goals on 154 shots on goal. His GAA is 1.24 & SV% .955. The Bolts, who take very limited shots on goal per game, may find it very hard to get a biscuit in the basket! It's a game of numbers, and quite frankly I don't think the Bolts allow themselves enough chances. Shoot the puck! Not to mention the Kings are loaded with talent on their offense & defense! The Kings, like the Coyotes, play a fast and very physical play style. I don't see this being very pretty for Bolt fans. I predict 4-1 Kings.

I know, horrible! No one clearing the front of the net. Too many penalties. Gudas was playing great but these 2 last games, he needs the bench! At this rate, I might have underestimated my prediction. Could be a shutout for the Kings & maybe 5-0.

the great Hedman ? the guy you wanted matt duchene over ? 2009 they could have drafted Matt Duchene! had Stamkos and Duchene and then traded Vinny to the habs for the moon! to solve are defense I heard Pk Subban, Halak, josh gorges and draft picks were involved in that deal! what a bone head move by ok hockey but they were dumb I'm not surprised they did not do this! It's not yzerman's fault he came into a mess in tampa and has turned us around very well in his short time. I still take Drouin over seth Jones anyday and twice on sunday!
