True, but getting a first-round pick in 2016 in the trade was pretty remarkable. If Melo doesn't sign in the off-season and NY has to blow up their team. The 2016 pick could turn out to be a gold mine for us. I agree with you that he has done a great job from any horrendous signings. I would also add that the players he's traded for also have really manageable contracts, which is another kudos to him.
