As a Twins fan I do not tend to root for the Yankees or many of their players, but Jeter has always been one of my favorites in the game. He is a true professional in the game and always plays hard and gives the game the respect it deserves. For that I respect him and congratulate him on the HUGE accomplishment of 3,000 hits. There is no question he will go down in baseball lore with good company as one of the Yankee greats.

I, like jrs, as a Twins fan am not big on the Yanks but that was a very exciting moment to see on Saturday. Congrats to Jeter. Truly a class act and deserving of recognition.
