I still don't believe that at all. There was never any proof of that from anything I saw. I'm wondering if the Cowboys started those rumors. Either way, the big draft day blunders were the value we got back in the trade and the TE in the second. Drafting Frederick was too early IMO, but like many others said, that never meant we didn't want the player. We felt we could get him in the second and would have loved to have teamed him up with someone else like a DL, S or another OL. I still think we made a huge mistake there as I'd rather have him plus another 1st round player. But, yes I'm extremely glad he is on our team. I think he is a building block.

I'd love it if we could go back and redo the Draft and still get him in the 2nd. But truth is we don't know. Now seeing what kind of player he is I'd hate to go back and lose him. I agree the value was a joke and the TE was a bigger joke.

The tight end was a JG and Jerrah blunder. Needed DLINE help. Similar like two wasted high picks on the wow factor Mo Claiborne. Terrence Williams was also not a good pick based on our needs.

In hindsight I'd think those who questioned the pick would have changed their minds by now.
