Everybody got their wish. Be careful what you wish for however. Don wasn't the best tactically but he kept the ship together and we won every year. Hope this works out.

I'd rather have someone with a not so good, yet entertaining team, then have a good team that doesn't do anything with that good team!

Good does you no good if you don't do something with it! I'd rather my team was average to above average and over achieve than be good every year only to let you down! The 88 Dodgers would be a good example, they were not that good, but they over achieved, and ya it was great!

Mattingly was fine, and I was actually impressed with how well he was able to adapt to the new ideas from the front office, but I'm not surprised that they want their own guy now. The only coach that I really care about having around is Rick Honeycutt and it looks like he's going to do exactly that.
