Based on the article, Quick is firmly the starter in Sochi. With the rest of the goalie fighting to be the backup.

Yeah it looks like he's in the no. 1 spot right now but it's a long way to Sochi. It wouldn't take much for him to be replaced by any of the USA backups especially Miller.

Yeah, I would go with Quick as well. USA has good goalies, Quick, Miller, & Anderson. I'll take our goalies against anyone's in the Olympics. Too bad you could only play 1 but it's a nice luxury to have 3 solid goalies just in case.

I think the only country that could match up with us goalie wise would be Finland. They have Rinne, Rask, Niemi, Lehtonen, and Backstrom all in contention.

I agree Finland has great goalie depth, even more impressive when you consider they're a country with less than 5 million people.
