I guess Saban was a horrible coaching move after he went 7-6 in 2007. God forbid a guy takes a 3-9 team and can't beat top10/15 teams in their first year.

And I'm not sure why it's stupid...he was sitting extremely well at Wisconsin and then takes a demotion by going to Arkansas...I could see him making the move to an elite school but Arkansas??? Arkansas has been relevant when??? 2011 and that's about it

For starters, he is making more money at Arkansas.

But the biggest thing was Wisconsin was cheap when it came to paying their assistant coaches and those coaches being vulched by other schools for more money constantly.

Losing assistant coaches is part of the deal....if you're successful then they are successful, when they are successful they become head coaches...like I said earlier, making more money and losing isn't worth it to me considering if you continue to lose (which there is a high probability at Arkansas considering you compete against LSU and BAMA for recruits) you lose your job

It's part of the deal if you don't pay them what they are worth to keep them. There is a reason Kirby Smart is the highest paid DC @ Alabama and why he gets a raise every year. He makes more than many HC's at smaller schools do. Pretty much the entire staff gets a raise every year and the only way we lose assistants is when they move upward to other teams.
