isnt Ford like 80 yrs old?

Would loved that scene where he turns to the other old dude while in the street & had it turns into a Meet Joe Black scene. LOL

Harrison Ford is 78, so he is old, but then again, so is Indiana Jones. If Jones were a real person, and somehow not dead yet, he would look as old as Harrison Ford looks. And the difference would be whether Indy doing things that 78 year olds can’t do messes up the movie for somebody or whether they try to make the character a lot younger.

The trailer for this looks miles better than that Crystal Skulls bullshit.

I've got high hopes.

if you are a fan of Harrison Ford, the cost of a movie ticket, or waiting for it to stream, would be worth seeing someone you like, so that’s how I saw the crystal skull. However, I hated how they decided to end the movie. I’m not talking about the wedding, but the alien reveal. To be fair, I don’t think they used aliens before, so maybe they just wanted to have that world there too?

That’s like de deus machina, which means, some other force that you’re not thinking about comes in at the end to save everyone or to explain something and it’s like having a riddle about a snake and a lion what is the answer involving a goat. It seems a bit unfair when you were trying to answer the riddle, when there was no reason to think about a goat. in the movie world, it’s lazy because they’re likely preferred ending was scrapped, and they had to hurry to have some sort of ending.

From what I've heard it's his granddaughter or some whoman that is his sidekick because Disney needs the STRONG POWERFUL female now in every one of their movies. I'm sure she'll make witty/sassy remarks to Indy while beating up everything that is in her way and saving Indy multiple times. and then it will end with a zoom in on her face or something after she saves the day ending with the music theme.

I think those things above are expected and yes, annoying. But the most annoying thing for me will be if they consistently refer to how old he is. I think they did that in the last movie and it was like, we already know that. At least try to portray him as somebody capable. I think the original trilogy did that and the difficulty was the mission, not his age, obviously.

So does Indy live? Or do they kill him off?

If he lives.... This won't be the last Indiana Jones movie... Only last time Harrison Ford plays him
Well, it wouldn't really matter. The movie writers can find a way to bring him back if necessary!

Harrison Ford is older than Joe Biden. The guy is a legend, but his days as an action hero are long over. Lets hope that he still can sell his scenes in this movie and it's not all cgi, but he should get a nice sendoff worthy of such a great character.

I guess Disney wants to continue the franchise somehow, but it will be very difficult to replace Ford.

Maybe since they’re having a hard time doing Star Wars, and they can’t continue Pirates of the Caribbean, even with Margot Robbie and Depp’s lawsuit win.

Well Kathleen "Darth" Kennedy fucked up Star Wars. And Mr. Mouse wont stop plugging in bullshit SJW/PC/LGBTQ crap in movies, which is why everyone with a functioning brain hates Disney.

As for Depp, he's redeemed. Margot Robbie had a lawsuit? Or you talking about Amber Turd?

I have absolutely no clue what the plot of this movie is and I will absolutely be seeing it in theaters opening weekend.

Me too, but most like a chore and to pay my respects to the character. There are hundreds of movies I love, but if I had to pick my absolute favorite, it would be Raiders. But I'm having a hard time feeling excited about this one.

If it gets good reviews, I may see it in theaters by week 3 or 4. But most likely, I MIGHT watch it for “free” when it falls into one of the streaming services I subscribe to (Disney, I think?).

I think they are going to try to make it look like the earliest ones more than the last two. I mean they all have the same theme, but I do t want modernization.
