I'm sorry but I think he is a joke lost any respect of him after him saying a injured Colt McCoy may still start over RG3 and Cousins I believe he just has a agenda out now instead of what's best for the team.

He has done a good job despite having mediocre QB's.

I think Shanahan got spent dealing with this team. And it was a big mistake firing Kyle. Had the team been smart, they would have put the QB in his place and worst case we would be looking at Kyle as a possible HC candidate this year.

The problem with Gruden lies not so much with Snyder as many believe, but with Bruce Allen. Let's be clear here Snyder likes Griffin and from what I'm reading/hearing wants the young man to succeed here, but what's the back story?

You have to start with the singular question which is, who stands to lose most if Griffin fails here. Well the answer can be easily determined if you remember these two events. The first being, who sold to Snyder the idea that his team should spend two firsts, swap firsts and a second round pick in order to aquire the QB. The second, being intimately involved in the firing of one coach, and the express hiring of another in order to prepare the QB to be the long term answer here. If you answered Bruce Allen, give yourself a big atta boy!

Consequently, Griffin must start (and succeed) if Allen's tenure here continues, but wait!, there's danger for Gruden here as well, remember he was hired in large part to be the QB guru for Griffin. If he can't do the job with Griffin, will he become Bruce's scapegoat? Has Gruden been sufficiently clear that Griffin can't cut it after watching him play in a total of 4 games and doomed Bruce? What's Snyder's choice here?

What's clear here is that.......nothing is clear! Which QB starts at this point is symptomatic of the back story, and should be seen exclusively in that light. Colt McCoy a good guy by most reports, starting tells us all that we need know about Jay Gruden's future here. On the other hand so does starting Griffin or Cousins.
