Okay so we're talking about making a play for shields or another true ace. However I don't think I've seen anyone say anything about making a play for Ian Kennedy of the diamondbacks. It's interesting to consider though I admittedly don't know much about his situation with Arizona. Thought it would be interesting to discuss while we're so slow right now though.

Well that sheds some light. Would have to be a pretty hefty trade to make it happen.
