A. Leave it the way it is?
B. Sudden death for 30 minutes before it goes to penalty kicks?
C. Sudden death for two 15-minute periods, then PKs?
D. Go to 9on9 and sudden death?
Anything else?
Leave it the way it is. The Golden Goal scenario is garbage. Ties earn a point in most leagues.
What about in knockout stages of tournaments?
like I said, leave it the way it is. There really isn't a better option.
There is. I just provided it
With how stingy teams get on defense and can essentially park the bus forever, putting in an unlimited time system would be a bore fest. Who wants to watch an additional hour of send one man forward and hope for a goal or try to take a dive in the box for a PK
E) make soccer enjoyable to watch to begin with.
That would be a start anyway...
Unlimited subs brings up complications, not sure how viable it would beHow about if you get rid of PK's and first goal wins with unlimited subs? This would eliminate the parking the bus strategy
I just hate PK's to decide games. It's like if a baseball game is still tied after 13 innings, the game is decided by a homerun derby
