How do you feel about Subway?

I love subs, and Subway is often regarded as one of the healthier (if not healthiest) fast food places around, but I find them bland unless you smother it with mayonnaise (which ruins its healthiness). Does anyone really like them?

It's a sandwich. How can you exactly fuck it up? Are you saying the ingredients don't taste like they should? The Lettuce doesn't taste like lettuce to you? etc?

I used to love it. I don't know what changed, but I don't like it anymore. I love tomatoes and their tomatoes are some of the worst. The Italian BMT toasted is alright, but if you have more than a 3 minute drive it sucks by the time you get home.

Oh and the one on my way home from work is mostly black people. The whole black people not liking mayo (undercover brother, etc.) is a myth. They cake that shit on there.

Now you are talking about sandwiches that aren't made fresh and are meant to stay on the shelf for awhile.

But I can't imagine if they have ingredients I like, they can be all that bad.

Just fucking nasty. Their bread sucks; their meat is slimy. They're basically sandwiches for people with no money and low expectations. Of all major chain fast food, they're the absolute worst. Honestly, if someone tells you they like Subway, you should immediately discount everything they have to say thereafter.

I don't like Subway.
Every time I have EVER eaten there, I come away shaking my head wondering what the fuck I just did and why I paid good money for that crap.

If I want a Sub sandwich, I certainly go somewhere else.
There are plenty of places now, unlike 20 years ago.

Subway sucks in comparison to other places. But its not awful. Like 4down20 said, its ok. As long as the place you go to keeps their ingredients fresh then there's not really anything bad you can say about it. I'm not a big fan of their meats. You can tell they came out of a freezer bag.

Places like Quiznos, Blimpies, etc etc are so much better.

not sure why, but every sandwich i have had a subway tastes the same...get a Italian BMT and it tastes just like the turkey and cheese. Get a ham and swiss and it tastes just like the chicken club...

I wasn't impressed with it. My sandwich wasn't bad, but after the way people built it up - it didn't live up to expectations.

They also don't let you pick your ingredients and build you own, that was a big negative for me.

All the chain sub places are pretty much the same. They'll do in a pinch.

Lunch meat, bread, shit loads of mayo, lettuce that's soaked in something to keep it green, and shitty tomatoes.

Too bad there are no deli's in the area.

Was in line once and a woman in front of me asked how big the six inch sub was.
And these people can vote and re-produce, sad.
As for the food, it will do in a pinch. Nothing to go out of my way for.
