Four years later. How did your team do? Were there any big winners?

BUFFALO BILLS
2nd Round - AJ Epensa (Hit)
3rd Round - Zack Moss (Miss, traded him away)
4th Round - Gabe Davis (Hit, but went other places)
5th Round - Jake Fromm (Miss)
6th Round - Tyler Bass (Hit)
7th Round - Dane Jackson (Hit, but signed with another team)

Probably give this a C to be honest. Got two starters. Two were productive, but went other places.

The Bengals first two picks -- Burrow and Higgins -- were outstanding. The Boys got Lamb, Diggs, Anae, and Biadasz.

Bears:

Kmet, Jaylon Johnson, Vildor, Mooney (FA moved on). Rest were trash and I believe out of the NFL.

Considering how good Jaylon and Kmet are probably a B draft. Mooney and Vildor are/were solid starters, not sure what went wrong with Mooney last year.

Very happy with Murphy and Haynes for Seattle. A+ grades for both and they will be (or should be) immediate starters (or a rotation for Murphy but as DL that's completely fine).

Yesterday it just seemed like Seattle took a bunch of highly athletic or good sized players. Nearly every 4th+ round pick they made were some of the more athletic guys in the draft. Will all depend on Seattle's new coaching staff if they know how to build up their technique and on field play (exception of Knight who was one of the best gap performers in NCAAF).

I'd give Seattle a B+ grade. Little underwhelmed after yesterday but they hit home on the immediate impact players with their first two selections.

Rams

2. Cam Akers - hit(ish), injuries and attitude got him dumped
2. Van Jefferson - hit(ish), now elsewhere
3. Terrell Lewis - miss, injuries again
3. Terrell Burgess - decent, now elsewhere
4. Brycen Hopkins - miss
6. Jordan Fuller - decent, now elsewhere
7. Clay Johnston - miss
7. Sam Sloman - miss
7. Tremayne Anchrum - solid OL depth, now elsewhere

4 years later, zero on the Rams roster but several have roles for other franchises

Ljarius Sneed was an A+. Major factor in winning a Super Bowl.

Danna, CEH, and Niang are still on the team. All just OK players. Gay was OK but now gone.

Solid draft. Kc also had 2 solid udfa players. Townsend and Wharton who is still with the team.

Packers

RoundPlayerPickPositionGamesComment
1Jordan Love26QB27Controversial pick at time, saves draft for now as appears to be next franchise QB. If continues to improve could push up grade more.
2AJ Dillon62RB60Neutral - Disappointment for 2nd round pick, also felt it was reach at time.
3Josiah Deguara94TE50Miss/Neutral - big reach, 1 dimensional as blocker only.
5Kamal Martin175LB16Miss - issue with injuries and Packers released him with injury settlement.
6Jon Runyan Jr.192T67Hit - good right guard for years, signed with NYG as 2nd contract.
6Jake Hanson208C18Miss
6Simon Stepaniak209TMiss
7Vernon Scott236S18Miss
7Jonathan Garvin242DE38Neutral - considering round, added decent depth as rotational player.
Overall gradeBGrade would be D+ without Jordan Love pick, consider Runyan as only other good draft pick considering round. Dillon and Deguara both overdrafted and under delivered despite a lot of playing time. If Love continues to improve could potentially move up draft grade even more in future as most important position on field and most difficult to draft. Grade could go down if Love regresses.

Eagles did fucking awesome. They (and me) fucked up so bad at WR they built the position into a dominant strength shortly after.

Oh and they also found their QB in the second. Na na na na

Eagles had a very good draft. DeJean in the 2nd was a steal and I'm fairly annoyed you guys got Trotter.... I wanted him for Seattle. I know we took a player with higher upside, but Trotter comes prepped with leadership and defensive IQ.

Dolphins draft picks 2020: Who did Miami pick?
  • Round 1, Pick No. 5: Tua Tagavailoa, QB, Alabama
  • Round 1, Pick No. 18: Austin Jackson, OT, USC
  • Round 1, Pick No. 30: Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn
  • Round 2, Pick No. 39: Robert Hunt, G, Louisiana-Lafayette
  • Round 2, Pick No. 56: Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama
  • Round 3, Pick No. 70: Brandon Jones, S, Texas
  • Round 4, Pick No. 111: Solomon Kindley, G, Georgia
  • Round 5, Pick No. 154: Jason Strowbridge, DE, North Carolina
  • Round 5, Pick No. 164: Curtis Weaver, OLB, Boise State
  • Round 6, Pick No. 185: Blake Ferguson, LS, LSU
  • Round 7, Pick No. 246: Malcolm Perry, WR, Navy
Franchise still glued to the hip of Tua, and with 3 1st rounders and 2 2nds that year, not much has come of it.

Essentially a complete whiff of a draft that should have built the franchise for the next 6 to 8 years.

AJ Terrell has turned out pretty good for my Falcons, he’s a solid corner. Other than that none of them have made much of an impact, Mykal Walker is the only other noteworthy player and he’s not with us anymore - O-Lineman Matt Hennessy started for a bit for us until injuries derailed him, he’s with Philly now.

1. Javon Kinlaw DT South Carolina - Big Miss. Always hurt and largely ineffective when not hurt.
1. Brandon Aiyuk WR Arizona State - Big Hit. 2nd team All Pro last season.
5. Colton McKivitz T West Virginia - Hit. He's a serviceable RT and an upgrade over McGlinchey.
6. Charlie Woerner TE Georgia - Neutral. He was the blocking TE for years. Good contribution for a 6th rounder. Now elsewhere.
7. Jauan Jennings WR Tennessee - Hit. He's the #3 WR and clutch as hell. Great for a 7th rounder.

Overall, the Niners did pretty well in 2020.

The Bears first two picks, TE Cole Kmet and CB Jaylon Johnson (both 2nd rounders) have panned out quite well, the rest all shit the bed.
The one half exception to that is 5th round pick WR Darnell Mooney. His first couple of years were pretty decent, especially his 2nd year. But since then his performance has been on a downward spiral. Maybe he'll rebound in a fresh new start with the Falcons.
