It was a great game by Quinn; however, he was going against Levi Brown so take it for what it is worth.

Its worth exactly one win as far as Im concerned.

Itll be interesting to see if the dline is more balanced in its attack against the Falcons or if itll all be Quinn again

It would be great if the DL could all pitch in because if it is just Quinn, teams will just start doubling him.

Brockers was pretty invisible today. He needs to be more consistent as well as Long to keep the teams from doubling up on Quinn.

You have to remember that Quinn was matched up with the turnstile named Levi. He's going to face much tougher opponents in the coming weeks even without double-teams.

Cant double everyone. Even the best tackles will occasionally need help. Our front and 7 are pretty tough.

I think Quinn and brockers are going to be really good. Our entire D-line is very good. Once Ogletree gets a feel for our unit, he's going to be really good as well.

I like Quinns reaction after a sack, he's got his arms spread apart wide, looking up to the sky with a giant smile on his face......priceless !!

These guys are badasses!!!
Chris Long - Got chipped by a TE(?) and then beat the RT

William Hayes - Got double teamed and beat it for pressure up the middle

Eugene Sims - Got double teamed and taken out of the play

Robert Quinn - One on One against their LT and Quinn gets the sack

Not sure many teams are going to want to see 3rd and long against the Rams

Pro Football Focus has given Robert Quinn the highest grade of all players that were playing in our game on Week 1 AND our game on Week 2.

We are going to have to pay this guy

I've been very critical of Quinn in the past but he clearly outperformed everyone else on our defense in the 1st 2 games. He's been good against the run in addition to being a pass-rushing threat. PFF generally has a good take on the defensive line, (and an awful take on the secondary). Just for fun here are last year's PFF 4-3 DE ratings. (Don't get angry):

I remember when they drafted Quinn. Many teams overlooked him stating he was too small and not a prototypical DE for the pros. Besides, I believe he was injured his senior year. We took a chance that paid off because even C. Long has stated that this guy is going to be an ALL-Pro for a very long time!!

I follow the draft pretty closely and I remembered thinking that we won the lottery when we drafted Quinn. The only reason Quinn fell that far is because that was an abnormally good draft and a couple of teams reached on QBs. I think he was a top 3 pick for most of the college year but slipped a little in the combine because he couldn't play 3-4 OLB and was a little light for a 4-3 DE.

Whats odd is that in Tennessee, Fisher was always known as the guy with awesome DTs and Spags was known as the DE guy but we have 3 really good DEs and one pretty good one. Long has been hurt and doubled so far this year so lets keep that in mind when looking at his stats.

Quinn was suspended and missed his entire final year of football eligibility. There were also 1 or 2 questions about his attitude, (80 unpaid parking tickets). Taking him at #14 after a year off was a huge gamble. I wanted Jones who went at #6, Smith who went at #7, Amukamara who went at #19, or Kerrigan who went at #16. I looked at some of his college tape. He had a great initial burst but he looked like an athlete with only 1 move. I didn't think he read plays very well and he wasn't great against the run. I was really disappointed with the pick. I guess I was wrong.

By the end of the draft process there were about 8 players I had ahead of him on my want list for sure. For some reason everyone kept mocking Julio Jones to the Rams and unfortunately that was too good to be true
