They guy has been there forever. I think he threw for about 4 years now. It's time to retire. He has no pro future.

I heard about him, doesn't he have concussion issues? Will be interesting to see what happens with him but I doubt he would get much interest because of the concussion history.

Is it a portal to another dimension where he becomes a good qb....

The dude has serious injuries, cut him some slack. That said, it seems like he's been there forever and it might be time to think about his next career.

If his transfer comes with a scholarship, it is a free year of grad school. Nice pay if you can find a job.

I bet Florida State will look at him.

We only have 2 on scholarship and one isn't cleared to play yet.
(The transfer from Louisville)

Sorry for quoting myself...but this was so obvious, I'm surprised it took as long as it did.

Not trying to create any controversy, but I can't help but wonder if Taggert and our new OC, Briles,
clashed over taking Hornibrook in.

Blackman has an excellent work ethic and is a team player, but he still needs to be pushed. And we still
need someone with experience behind him OR in front of him. Too bad that Spring practice is already underway.

If he plays, FSU fans should be pretty tired of under thrown balls or balls a couple steps behind the WR. That's what it was with UW's WR corps, if FSU has that vaunted Florida speed everyone talks about...those balls will be 5 to 15 yards behind the wideouts...good times coming Noles fans...

I'd be shocked if he starts ahead of Blackman, but experienced depth is never a bad thing.

Hopefully FSU gets some grad transfer OL because that's the biggest concern.

LOL

I honestly feel bad for Willie. Folks have been negatively recruiting against FSU for so long now because of Trickett that the narrative has been set and it's hard to overcome.

I'd go along with that...to a point. Yes, w/o question folks negatively recruited against Trickett and our lack of
developing OL, but Taggert should have known that coming in.

A 3rd grader could watch FSU play and see how bad our OL's footwork was. They just don't know how to
use their feet. They also aren't the strongest of folks for their size. Those two areas should have been
addressed when he first arrived and should have been stressed leading up to the season beginning.

There is no excuse for poor footwork. NONE!

Is Briles bringing some offense with him or will he be using Taggert's? If it is heavy Briles, I don't see Hornibrook as plugging in very well to a Briles offense. But, I've been wrong before.

The other thing is I can't think of one offense that will work for very long without an offensive line....and I believe FSU has been awful at that position.
