Glazer is reporting torn pec and he'll go on IR as reported just now on 97.5

Getting a second opinion.

Of course. I swear this franchise is snake bitten. A promising young LB playing like an animal and he gets hurt.

1 step forward. 2 steps back.

That really sucks. He has arguably been our best defensive player!

Well, the only bright side is that we just got Kiko back and have very good depth at this position compared to most anyone in the NFL.

One of the better players on defense this year, and a future stud. Definitely hurts, but that's a part of the game.

We're deep though. Chip the GM gets a kudos on that. With Alonzo and Ryans back we're good.

Sucks to hear it but thankfully it's nothing that won't heal properly.

...it's nice having good linebackers again.

Hicks also has had an injury background. He missed 16 games while at Texas. So, hopefully, he won't have an injury filled NFL career.

Wasn't he the one with the pick-6 last night? Sucks to see a player like that have to shut it down early

Yeah but hicks is the best of them by a good bit in all phases of the game. It'll have an impact.

Hicks is the best draftee so far from this year;s draft, but we have to see how Rowe and Aggy pan out. sometimes it takes more than 1 year to evaluate. Add Shepard to those, and we could net 4 studs from this draft. Give it at least 1 more year to determine.

Jordan Hicks single handedly killed the Cowboys season. He broke Romo's collarbone and had the pick 6 last night. He will be missed, but Kiko is capable of making us forget about him.

"It's part of the game" At what point do we say that it's getting out of control. Every single facet of the NFL game has been refined down to the last detail.

The NFL was a smash up derby on dirt with cars and a max speed of 10 mph.

Now it's a smash up derby on asphalt with SUV's and a max speed of 50 mph

We won't forget about Hicks, no matter what Kiko does. I get tour point though. As R.J. illustrated, the game has become ananagous to the Extreme Fights & Hish Speed Racing. the players are bigger, stronger, and faster, coupled with the game eing a violent, collision game, not what I was used to, grwing up in the 60's & 70's, where it was strng, but slow, cpmpared to today's athletes. When I was growing up in the dark ages, there was an offseason where most of the players had part-time jobs (sales reps/public relations), to make some extra money, and got fat. they used TC to lose weight and get in condition. Not so today. the game has so much money to offer, and competition so fierce, the players have to stay in shape and train for TC. A different world we live in. The game is better, but a lot more injuries.
